The building is the model

Honest figures

Every drawing states what it claims: dimensions are measured and to scale; a position the design does not fix is labelled illustrative; a mark with no place to stand is omitted and the omission is named. A figure that cannot say that is a claim nobody made.

One document per building

Every study of a building composes into one clause-referenced dossier: each chapter exactly as issued, the shared basis stated once, and any disagreement surfaced rather than smoothed over.

Reports are frozen when issued — engine and standard edition stamped on every one — and reproduce exactly. When the building moves on, the dossier says which chapters no longer describe it, instead of letting an old number stand quietly beside a new drawing.
